CHANGES ON THE JOB
Yanick Rice Lamb was promoted to chair of the Department of Media, Journalism and Film at Howard University. She also received an award for digital features for “Dealing With Dementia” from the National Association of Black Journalists and for best small website for FierceforBlackWomen.com from the Association for Women in Communications.
RETIREMENTS
Lt. Col. Michelle Rice Trotter retired from the U.S. Army Reserves.

Carla Lemon held a successful Excel 31 women’s event in Columbus, Ohio. Her twin sister, Brittney, snuck into town from Chicago to support her. The twins are also planning the 46th Annual Peter Rice Reunion in Chicago in 2017. Start making plans!
